Icosahedral pseudoglobes, gnomonic projection.

Since they have many parallel edges, cutting and folding these icosahedral "globes" is relatively easy. However, please read the generic assembly tips before beginning. Before choosing a map, see the notes on size and resolution. You also might learn something about icosahedral and polyhedral maps in general.

Notice: do not confuse icosahedral maps projected using the Fisher/Snyder and polyhedral gnomonic projections with Buckminster Fuller's Dymaxion™ maps — see them compared. You can purchase high-quality Dymaxion maps at the Buckminster Fuller Institute.
